All families of the church are members of the St. George Society.  This group does many spiritual and corporal works of mercy and also holds fund raisers such as Soup & Pie Luncheons.  An annual fall dinner is held on the last Sunday of October each year.  The Society has twelve groups with each group serving one month a year.  The Society functions within the Parish Council
